After years of self filing my taxes with the “simple and easy” turbotax/cashapp system and consistently owing crazy money to the IRS, despite living paycheck to paycheck, I finally decided to have Empowered Finances file my taxes. (this sounds like a commercial prompt but I promise you, it’s not.) I honestly didn’t even care if I got $2 back, as long as I didn’t owe the IRS. I sent them an email, on the advice of my sister, and within 24 hours received an email back detailing all the information they needed and that I didn’t even need to show up in person. Everyone I had spoken to was extremely considerate and courteous and I couldn’t ask for better service. I would highly recommend using this company for filing taxes to anyone that is skeptical about tax services. 10/10
